The Wilderness School’s main purpose is to teach children about a world without current technology. In Wilderness School, children go camping without cell phones, iPads, internet, etc., and learn to do things on their own (like learn how to cook their own food).

To portray “ruralness”, I decided to use textures created by taking graphical details from nature pictures I took in the Santa Cruz mountains. Everything from trees to dirt (and even old parchment papers I found in some of the older camping cabins) was used to help design the website.
